“There are exciting things going on in Torrington, especially at the WH Morrison Building at 63 Water Street! It’s the home to the Artwell Gallery (on the 2nd floor) and the first floor is the home to the Desultory Theatre Club.”
“The Desultory Theatre Club is an exciting, organic creative expression under the direction of the legendary Keith Paul. There are Drum Circles, puppet shows, challenging theatrical performances, music events and so much more. Just checking a calendar of events is an exploration in originality and creativity.
On November 23rd there’ll be a live performance by Pocket Vinyl, which will be piano “slam rock” and live painting. December 5th will be a songwriter’s concert from the American Songbook. But starting November 14th, there will be a GAMING night to kick off “Theatre Club Thursdays”. Our bet is that the Desultory Theatre Club is going to make Torrington THE place to be on Thursday nights. Why not check it out for yourself!”
